Travel Green Wisconsin Certification for
Bay Shore Outdoor Store
 Travel Green Wisconsin, a voluntary certification program that recognizes tourism businesses for reducing their environmental footprint through eco-friendly practices and the first of its kind in the country, has just announced that Bay Shore Outdoor Store has earned certification.
Bay Shore's environmental initiatives include an extensive recycling program including nearly 100% of all kayak and apparel packaging, continuing staff and customer education on invasive species and environmental issues in Door County, and reduction of energy consumption through use of compact fluorescent lighting among other conservation methods.
