At the Symposium, paddlers of all ages and abilities will enjoy a supportive and relaxed learning environment filled with fun and educational experiences, complete with the opportunity to connect with others who love the sport. The Nicolet Bay 5k begins at 10:30 a.m., just after the start of the half marathon. This race has a separate starting line on Shore Road and participants will follow the course going around the bay past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and Welcker’s Point, finishing at the same finish line as the half marathon. Walkers are welcome.
Bay Shore Outdoor Store will have a booth at the Expo this year which will be Friday, April 30 from noon to 8pm at Ephraim Village Hall.

Beautiful Peninsula State Park at Nicolet Beach will be the backdrop to try new paddles from Werner and Aquabound as well as sprayskirts, PFD's, and more. The event is free and open to the public; all that's needed is a state park sticker. There will also be reduced prices on select 2009 kayaks and Kevlar and fiberglass boats will be available to paddle. Take a new boat for a spin, enjoy food and the scenery, chat with fellow paddlers and kick your summer off right at Paddlefest 2010!
