Boating Safety

	Required personal flotation devices are provided, please wear them!
	Consider additional protection against:      Cold water      Sharp objects (foot wear)      Sun
	Swimming from boats is dangerous and not recommended
	Be aware of weather and traffic
	Use the help of our staff in boarding, launching, landing and exiting boats

Rental Rules

	Rule number 1 is HAVE FUN! Safe boating is the most fun
	Rule number 2 is BE PREPARED! The "Captain" is soley responsible for the boat and its occupants
	Obey state and local boating regulations
	Operate boats within known limits:      Area      Time      Capacity
	Capsizing of boats is not permitted
	Landing of sailboats other than at Nicolet Beach is not permitted

Payment for damages due to abuse or failure to obey the rules may include,
in addition to repair costs, compensation for lost rental income and staff time expenses.
