The Coastal Adventure Kayak Tour is for those who are interested in going on a tour, and prefer the safety and comfort of a tandem kayak. If you are more interested in trying a single-person kayak, and may like to learn a few extra skills along the way, Sea Kayaking 101 is the tour for you! Perhaps you've kayaked before or are just a little more adventurous…check out our Cave Point Kayak Tour. The Cave Point Kayak Tour features some of the best shoreline scenery in the area paddling past the cave-lined shore of Cave Point County Park and the beautiful sand beach at Whitefish Dunes State Park.
New for this year we will be offering a geologist-led Niagara Escarpment Kayak Tour! See and learn about the unique geologic formation that makes up the Door Peninsula!
Also new this year, we will be offering a Family Kayak Tour geared toward families with children twelve years and under who may be interested in a tour with slightly less paddling and a little more play time!
Door County Kayak Tours
Our shortest and most economical tours are the Morning Light and Sunset kayak tours, both departing from the centrally located Ephraim Kayak Center. These tours are both offered in tandem kayaks and are between two and two and a half hours in length, great for those looking for a little bit shorter experience.
If you are interested in kayaking on your own, we offer Kayak Rentals from our shop in Sister Bay, the Ephraim Kayak Center, and from Nicolet Beach in Peninsula State Park.
Our Sister Bay Bay Shore Outdoor Store carries kayaks from the likes of Wilderness Systems, Perception, Current Designs, Necky, and Hobie as well as accessories from Harmony, Stohlquist, Seal Skirts, AquaBound, and Werner Paddles and racks from both Thule and Yakima.
